ABOUT US
Chauson Education Society (Regd), Bengaluru, was established in 1985 by a group of Visionaries and Highly Educated Professionals committed to imparting quality education in the rural and backward areas. The Chauson College of Education, is an institution of the Chauson Education Society, and was established in 1985. It has been the endeavor of the Management to achieve excellence in the field of Education by imparting Quality education to produce effective Teachers.
Chauson College of Education is situated in a 15 acres of beautiful and pollution free campus at Chaugule Hills, Chikodi, Belgavi District Karnataka which is 2km away from Chikodi bus stand on chikodi - Nippani road and is 70 km from Kolapur ( Maharastra State), 22km from Nippani town, and 70km from Belgavi City, Karnataka State and 175 km from Goa.
It is well connected by private and public transport, the institution has all the necessary infrastructure and structural facilities required as per the norms.
The highly qualified management, academic council, teaching faculty, with its vast experience and knowledge have always implemented and brought int practice the latest developments in the field of education in the college, for the benefit of the Student - Trainees by implementing various Educational Programs, Seminars, Workshops, Research activities, Community Oriented, etc, which is an addition to the regular syllabus.
Our institution believes that true education involves overall Personality Development of the Student - Teacher and that the syllabus is treated as a means and as an end. Our efforts are to instill proper human values, they in turn would be able to mould the students they teach, therefore our task is more challenging. The programs formulated are geared towards making positive contribution towards the progress of the Student - Teachers, Society, and the Nation at large, keeping in view the global context.
The institution works with a strong sense of social responsibility, and is extremely environmentally conscious, which is very evident from the various environment friendly practices adopted all the campus like Rain water harvesting, Biogas, Social forestry, etc. And also promotes best practices in Horticulture/ Agriculture.
The Annual Results of our B.Ed College have always been Excellent since Inception - 1985. Till date about 3000 Student - Teachers have Successfully completed the B.Ed Course and most of them have already been well employed in various Educational Institutions and Government Departments, and thus contributing to the overall progress of education in the rural areas and also contribute towards rural development
Our Institution has also adopted 20 Government of Karnataka Schools for Quality Improvement.
